My name is Kevin Chu and I am a Los Angeles based Fashion/Lifestyle Photographer.
How did you get into photography?
It all started after high school that I kind of fell into photography when choosing what I wanted to do in college.
When did you have your first camera in hand? Can you still remember the moment and the feeling?
Senior year of high school. It was big!
How important is for you the equipment when photographing? Do you need always the latest and best technology?
Definitely not important. No amount of gear can replace a person's unique vision for the world.
How would you define your style?
A bit of fashion, lifestyle, and beauty all mixed into one image.
What makes a perfect photo?
No picture can be perfect. The imperfections of photography is what makes it unique. You can never take the same shot twice!
What images are you proud of?
Definitely this recent shot of mine. It started with a horrible crop/framing and turned it into something amazing. :)
