My name is Adam Naples, and I live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I currently attend Kutztown University in pursuit of an Environmental Geography degree. I enjoy traveling our great nation’s National Parks, playing with my Basset Hound, Melvin, and collecting records and t-shirts. I recently started growing a vegetable garden. It’s fun, and I’ve learned a lot from the entire process. This summer you’ll find me on my kitchen floor eating watermelon with my dog, or swimming in (safe) quarries with my friends.
My father is a photographer, so I’ve been around cameras for as long as I can remember. I started shooting weddings with him for fun when I was around 15 or 16, and it became a craft I slowly gravitated towards.
Lately, I’ve been pushing weddings more and more, but my favorite things to photograph are people in the outdoors. I really enjoy camping and exploring, and I enjoy taking pictures of people, so I’d like to do those in tandem more. I’m about to leave for a few weeks to go to Alaska with friends, so that’s basically as good as I can describe my preferred subject/environment.

It’s cliché, but the entire wedding — it’s why I enjoy photographing them. I think it’s the most god-honoring photography I can do. It’s very honest, and that’s something to feel good about. It’s a moment to for everyone in attendance can forget about all the stressors at home, work and in school, and to just embrace the good that’s happening in front of them. Sometimes moments like that are fleeting, so I’m lucky enough to make it my job!
