It always was, it is and it always be color Black. Black’s beauty is absolute…
I didn’t have any artistic background as a child. I grew up listening to records and dreaming of becoming at first veterinarian and then music journalist. I was always driven by music so few years back when I moved in to New York I started exploring the night life and music scene. One night I picked up camera and started documenting what was around me. People, concerts, atmosphere… I just wanted to capture it all and treasure it forever… Later I got very interested in portraiture so I started taking pictures of my friends. Then I wanted to learn more and more and apart from having full time job, setting and shooting things on my own, working as assistant I was also taking several courses at International Center of Photography and later Maine Media Workshops. I think all these experiences helped me in a way in creating my own unique vision. I work both digital and film.
First of all photography to me is about memories I want to remember and feel forever. But also is a form of escape and exploration for answers.
I love portraiture and documentary photography the most but I am big fan of high fashion photography as well.
It’s very subjective unhampered form of expression and that’s very important to me. Projects like that keep you going and they let you grow.
Music. Film. Traveling. Reading. Feelings. Human relationships.
