My name is Tammy Duncan and I'm from West Memphis Arkansas. I moved to Nashville in 2003, with my then boyfriend and now husband, for school. Needless to say I never went.
My favorite time of day with my family is in the evening when my husband gets home. The kids go nuts with excitement and mostly we end up piled on our bed snuggled. My favorite time of day for photography is early evening. About a couple of hours before sunset. The light is beautiful.
When I was in high school a friend of mine had a black and white picture she took of her cat and it was so beautiful. From then on I was hooked.
Images that aren't photoshopped to the extent that things are added and it doesn't resemble the original image. To me that's photoshop art not photography.
Color
Anything that moves me. I find that I'm more drawn to simple images with little editing. Images that have a natural organic feel.
Natural light is just so beautiful and flattering. Anything provided by nature is perfect and pure. The sun has such a beautiful glow in the evening that can't be replicated by studio lighting.
To me lighting is everything.
I want people to feel good and be inspired by my photography.
